Looking at her work, I think of ‘order in disorder’, ‘Chaos’. Who defines order, and does disorder exist? Vera Molnar was one of the early pioneers of computer art,
and the artist‘s thorough, system-based approach contributed to establishing parameters for the modern intersection between art and technology.
Convinced that there is no single solution to an aesthetic problem, she experiments with continuous transformation within and throughout the work.
She is also said to have studied the collapse between order/disorder and deliberately introduced the ’1 percent disorder law‘.
