Salua Lauda Shkare is a pioneer of Lebanese modernism and an artist who broadened the horizon of Middle Eastern abstract art.
The elegant use of lines and curves in the modular style drawn from traditional Islamic art seems to represent the beautiful harmony of Western abstraction and Islamic culture.
It is particularly impressive that her works look separate, but they never look heterogeneous with her own colors. Inspired by the form of her representative works, she applied them to typefaces.
