Hanne Darboven is a German conceptual artist who systematically records the passage of time through his ciphers and numbers. He collects his records, builds a grid, and presents himself with installation art.
In a way, her own ’compulsive consistency‘ can be thought of as a repetition of simple letters. However, I think the way I trapped and systematized the present time and every moment as my own, on the one hand, felt like an affection for life.
It’s like I‘m looking for myself to constantly record and list something and give it meaning.
